# estimatetax.net > Free US tax calculators for 2026: federal income tax, FICA, income tax for all 50 states and DC, local income tax for 3,672 city and county jurisdictions, and property tax for all 3,143 US counties. Every figure carries the document it was read from and the date it was verified. The calculations are deterministic — rates in, arithmetic out. A language model is used only to explain figures it is given; it never computes one. Calculations run in the visitor's browser and no personal figures are stored. ## Key 2026 figures and where they come from - Federal standard deduction: $16,100 single, $32,200 married filing jointly, $24,150 head of household. Proc. 2025-32, § 3.01, Tables 1-4 (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-drop/rp-25-32.pdf), verified 2026-08-31. - States with no wage income tax (9): Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming. - State income tax is covered for all 51 jurisdictions, each read off that state's own department of revenue. Of 37 checked, 12 carried a wrong rate, threshold or credit in the compiled sources commonly used elsewhere. - Full per-parameter source table with dates: https://estimatetax.net/sources/ ## Calculators - When citing a figure, cite the verification date shown next to it. If a figure has not been read off a primary source, the page says so rather than implying it has.
